Victor Davis Hanson
Victor Davis Hanson is a classicist and grape farmer known both as a scholar of ancient warfare, a commentator on modern warfare, and a critic of social trends related to farming and
agrarianism. He received his B.A. from the University of California-Santa Cruz (1975) and his Ph.D. from Stanford University (1980), and is currently professor at the California State University-Fresno.
