Vigeland Sculpture Park
Vigeland Sculpture Park in the centre of the large
Frognerparken, which belongs to the estate of Frogner Hovedgaard, is maybe the most famous park in
Norway, being located in the district of
Oslo called
Frogner, west of the city centre.
The monolith
Created by sculptor Gustav Vigeland, the main attractions is the monolith, and the sculpture of an angry young boy - at the bridge of the park.
The wheel of life
The sculpture park was created between the years 1907 and 1942. Most of the sculptures between the years 1926 and 1942.
