WCFE

The call letters in WCFE stand for Clinton, Franklin and Essex Counties, which make up its primary coverage area. WCFE broadcasts on Channel 57 from Lyon Mountain, NY, between Plattsburgh and Malone. WCFE-TV is licensed to Plattsburgh and studios and offices are located on Sesame Street (no pun intended). WCFE carries PBS and syndicated programming and its over the air coverage reaches many communities in Northeastern New York, Eastern Ontario (including Cornwall and parts of Ottawa), Vermont and Southern Quebec including Montreal. It is better known to viewers as Mountain Lake PBS.
