West Coast Express
West Coast Express is
British Columbia's only interregional
commuter rail service, linking
Mission, Port Haney,
Maple Ridge,
Pitt Meadows,
Port Coquitlam,
Coquitlam, and Port Moody with downtown
Vancouver. WCE operates Monday to Friday only, and is a part of TransLink, Vancouver's regional transportation authority. TransLink also owns and controls Coast Mountain Bus Company,
SeaBus,
SkyTrain, HandyDART, the Albion Ferry, AirCare and certain major roads and bridges.
Trains consist of a General Motors locomotive and four to nine Bombardier bi-level passenger coaches. Seating capacity on each passenger coach is 144.
