West Pasco is a town located in Franklin County, Washington. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 4,629.

Demographics

census of 2000, there are 4,629 people, 1,618 households, and 1,380 families residing in the town. The population density is 296.4/km² (767.8/mi²). There are 1,661 housing units at an average density of 106.4/km² (275.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 89.59% White, 1.10% African American, 0.73% Native American, 1.17% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 4.47% from other races, and 2.89% from two or more races. 10.02% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 1,618 households out of which 35.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 76.8% are married couples living together, 4.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 14.7% are non-families. 12.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 5.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.85 and the average family size is 3.08. In the town the population is spread out with 26.6% under the age of 18, 6.0% from 18 to 24, 24.2% from 25 to 44, 31.1% from 45 to 64, and 12.1% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 42 years. For every 100 females there are 99.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 99.5 males. The median income for a household in the town is $65,865, and the median income for a family is $68,205. Males have a median income of $50,504 versus $31,947 for females.
