Yachiyo

Yachiyo (八千代市; -shi) is a city located in Chiba, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 176,637 and the density of 3,445.23 persons per km². The total area is 51.27 km².

The city was founded on January 1, 1967.
