Bliss bibliographic classification
A
library classification system devised by Henry E. Bliss, who was in charge of the
library at the
College of the City of New York, now known as The
City College of the
City University of New York. This system, though devised in the
United States, was more commonly adapted by
British libraries than by American ones.
