Dante's Peak

Dante's Peak, the 1997 action adventure film, was released a couple months before Volcano, another movie of the same disaster genre. Starring Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton, the movie portrays what it's like to be in the middle of a volcanic eruption. Good cast plus impressive special effects makes Dante's Peak one of the better volcano movies.
