De Bilt (population: 42,302) is a village in the central Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht. The municipality of the same name covers an area of 67.13 km² (of which 0.18 km² water).
The municipality of De Bilt also includes the following towns, villages and townships: Bilthoven, Groenekan, Hollandsche Rading, Maartensdijk, Westbroek.
De Bilt is the seat of the headquarters of the Royal Dutch Institute for Meteorology, KNMI.
