Diary of A Mad Band

Diary of A Mad Band was the rather successful follow-up to Jodeci's debut album, Forever My Lady. MCA and Uptown Records issued and released the album on December 21, 1993.

"Diary of a Mad Band" is Jodeci's best album. The fast songs were finally up to par with the other songs. The slow songs were once again simply outstanding. "Cry For You", "Feenin'", and "Alone" were instant classics. In fact, there is not one bad track on the whole album. "You Got It", "Won't Waste You", and "In the Meanwhile" are impressive. If you listen to "Forever My Lady" and then listen to "Diary of A Mad Band", you can really hear the difference between the two albums.

Even though the album is sort of underrated because it was poorly promoted, it's probably one of the greatest R&B albums of the '90's.
