Harvard-Westlake School
Harvard-Westlake School is the leading private secular institution of lower education (grades 7 through 12) in
Los Angeles, California. The school is the product of the 1991 unification of
Harvard School for Boys (founded in 1900) and
Westlake School for Girls (founded in 1904). The former Harvard campus, located in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, is now the campus of the upper school--grades 10 through 12. The former Westlake campus, located in
Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, California, currently houses the lower school--grades 7 through 9.
Notable alumni include Sally Ride, Shirley Temple and Myrna Loy.
