LAKAS

LAKAS is the ruling political party of the Philippines. Its full name is the LAKAS Christian-Muslim Democrats (LAKAS-CMD) and was formerly known as LAKAS National Union of Christian Democrats–Community of Muslim Democrats of the Philippines (LAKAS-NUCD-CMDP). The current President of the Philippines, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is a member of the party as well as former president Fidel V. Ramos. It holds 86 seats of the 215 in the House of Representatives.
