Lilliput

In Jonathan Swift's satirical novel, Gulliver's Travels, the land of Lilliput was occupied by very small people. See Lilliput and Blefuscu.

Lilliput was also the name of a British arts magazine, founded in 1937 by a photo journalist named Stefan Lorant. It was sold shortly after to Tom Hulton, and then editorship was taken over by Tom Hopkinson (1940): it had a number of quite distinguished writers as contributors.

Lilliput was also the name of a Swiss all-women band formerly known as Kleenex.
