Kristiansund. The construction was the culmination of a long-lasting discussion on the number and situations of airports in
Møre og Romsdal. Its
IATA Airport Code is

The airport has one 1,640-meter runway in the direction of 07-25. A new passenger terminal opened in the early 1990s, serving approximately 300,000 passengers annually.
