Northeast Conference

The Northeast Conference (NEC) is a college athletic conference which operates in the northeastern United States. It participates in the NCAA's Division I-AA for football and Division I for all other sports.

There are fourteen partial or full-time member schools:

• State University of New York (Albany) [football-only member]
• Central Connecticut State University
• Fairleigh Dickinson University [no football program]
• Long Island University [LIU] (Brooklyn) [no football program]
• University of Maryland, Baltimore County [UMBC] [no football program]
• Monmouth University
• Mount St. Mary's College [no football program]
• Quinnipiac College [no football program]
• Robert Morris College
• Sacred Heart University
• St. Francis College (NY) [no football program]
• St. Francis College (PA)
• Stony Brook University [football-only member]
• Wagner College
