Pudong

Pudong is a district in the eastern part of Shanghai, China. Known formally as Pudong New Area, it was 556 square-kilometers of farmland but now hosts skyscrapers, industrial parks and the new Pudong International Airport.

Pudong's GDP reached USD $25.13 billion in 2002.
