Sonny Clark

Conrad Yeatis (Sonny) Clark (1931-1963) was an American bop and hard bop pianist.

He is chiefly known today for his recordings for Blue Note records, on which he played with several of the most important hard bop players, including Kenny Burrell, Donald Byrd, Paul Chambers, John Coltrane, Art Farmer, Philly Joe Jones, Clifford Jordan, Jackie McLean, Hank Mobley, Art Taylor, and Wilbur Ware.
