SP Balasubramanyam

SP Balasubramanyam is a prolific Indian singer. He has sung more than 30,000 songs in more than 5 different Indian languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. Thus he holds the Guinness record for the most number of recordings by any single male singer. (the female record is held by Lata Mangeshkar).

SPB, as he is shortly known, virtually monopolised playback singing for more than 15 years in the Telugu and Tamil cinema. Winner of innumerable number of awards both at state and national levels. Hosts a popular TV show called Paadutha theeyaga on E-Tv and Paadalani Undi on MAA-TV.
