Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget (SCA), is a Swedish pulp and paper manufacturer. It has approximately 44,000 employees. The company's ten largest markets are (in order): Germany, Great Britain, United States, France, Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Spain and Belgium.
SCA was founded by Ivar Kreuger in 1929 as a holding company for ten Swedish forest industry companies. In 1975 SCA acquired Mölnlycke AB, a leading western European producer of disposable hygiene products, and in 1990 SCA acquired transport packaging company Reedpack.
