Translink
Translink, officially known as the
Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority, is a transportation organisation which services the
mass transit needs of the
Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD).
It was created in 1998 by the Government of British Columbia to replace BC Transit in the GVRD.
Translink operates several mass transportation facilites including:
It also runs the AirCare inspection facility, designed to test automobilies for pollution levels. Recently, Translink was given authority to manage major road infrastructure.
